If you use adsense on your sites, you will know that they now require a Privacy Policy and with their new move to interest based advertising it’s time to update your privacy policy. (grumble…) I know it’s a tedious pain in the neck, but I’ve just updated the privacy policy across about 15 or so sites with the help of a privacy policy generator that looks as though the wording should be sufficient. You get to declare the site name, email contact address and which advertising services you may use and it spits out something nice for you to copy and paste into a privacy policy page.
The autogenerator can be found here. It’s worth keeping the bookmark for it as this is a tremendously useful tool for when you do need to update your privacy policy and don’t want to spend serious time writing it yourself.
